Bunny Bonanzoo Coming to Stone Saturday

Easter Bunny will be there for pictures along with Zookeeper encounters, crafts, games, and music.

Harvey was invisible, Peter was always getting in trouble, and Bugs ... well, he just wanted to know, "What's up, doc?" But when it comes to this weekend, there's just one famous rabbit, and that's the Easter Bunny.

And if you're looking where to find the Easter Bunny, he's just a hop, skip and a jump away at Stone Zoo. On Saturday, March 31, guests are invited to celebrate with a visit to the Zoo, where crafts, games, music, and other fun surprises await. And of course, no Easter celebration would be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny, who will be ready to meet-and-greet and pose for photographs.

Guests may take photos with their own camera for a suggested donation of $5. All of the proceeds will benefit Stone Zoo. Crafts, games, and music will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meet the Easter Bunny from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and then 1–3 p.m.

Not that the Easter Bunny isn't real, but if you want to meet and learn about other rabbits, there will be two bunny encounters with education staff at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. In addition, there will be a Zookeeper encounter at the jaguar exhibit at 11:30 a.m., an encounter at the North American river otter exhibit at 1:30 p.m., and one at the black bear exhibit at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $16.95 for adults, $14.95 for seniors, $11.95 for children 2-12, and children under 2 are free. Tickets purchased online receive a 15 percent discount.
