Chuck Sidlowski Passes Away
Longtime Stoneham resident served in the United States Air Force.

Charles "Chuck" Sidlowski passed away on Thursday, Aug. 2, following a courageous, lengthy battle with illness. Chuck was at home surrounded by his loving family when he passed on to heaven.
Chuck was born on February 21, 1943 in Brighton, MA to Charlesand Jean Sidlowski. He resided in Stoneham for the past 43 years. Chuck was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 48 years Nancy (DiMascio) Sidlowski. He is the devoted father of Tracy Hertigan and her husband Bob, Chad Sidlowski, Nicole Lindberg and the late Duane Sidlowski. Chuck is the cherished grandfather of Lauren Santini and her fiancé Anthony Moccia, Tania Santini, Shannon Hertigan and CJ, Ava and Addison Sidlowski. The dear brother of the late Joan F. Golden, Chuck is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

After high school graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in England. During his stay he had the good fortune to have the opportunity to work on military planes. That is how he developed an interest and passion for airplanes. When he came home to the states he became a union carpenter and was an active member of local 40 for over 50 years.
Chuck loved his summers on Sebago Lake, cookouts in Pelham, and holidays with his family. He loved his family and was a loyal friend to so many.
