Colonial Park Holds "Art Field Trip" Without Leaving School!

This month Colonial Park School hosted a 2-day painting workshop for Grades K-4 where students were able to create their own unique masterpiece to bring home. This goal of this fun and educational program was to inspire students to reach beyond their ability through art. Students created Valentine's day themed paintings for the month of February and learned basics of canvas painting and combining colors. This hands-on art workshop was led by Theresa Gritti, a 35+ year MA certified, award winning art teacher and generously funded by a grant from the Stoneham Business and Community Educational Foundation (SBCEF) and a donation from the Colonial Park PTO.
