Creepy Puppet Turns Up At Stoneham PD, Cops Trying To Track Down Owner
The Stoneham police don't seem to want to hang onto the puppet any longer than they have to, for some reason.
STONEHAM, MA — If you own a creepy puppet but just can't seem to find it, you might want to give the Stoneham Police Department a call.
"We are attempting to locate the owner of this puppet that was turned into the station," the Stoneham police posted to social media.

"If this belongs to you — or if you recognize it from your nightmares — please contact us to arrange pickup," the post said. "All jokes aside, if anyone knows where this puppet came from contact the station."

Commenters on the post had some suggestions for the police.
"I wouldn't worry about it," said one. "If I've learned anything from horror movies, it's that a cursed puppet will find its owner all on its own."

"That’s awesome!" said another. "But I would put it in a cell at night handcuffed! Just in case it’s a relative of Chucky’s!"
