Curtain Time Donates Fabric for Masks

Curtain Time in Stoneham, at 367 Main Street is temporarily closed, due to state mandated orders, but is still busy reaching out to the community in these very challenging times. Curtain Time has donated many boxes of fabric to assist with an urgent demand for masks.

Fabrics were donated to Road to Responsibility, an organization affiliated with United Way, serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Typically they operate day rehabilitation and employment service programs, but those have been closed due to COVID19. The staff are in the homes 24/7 caring for individuals, to keep them busy and happy, but also, to continue the work they typically do in the day programs. The organization needs masks for the staff and individuals in the 49 residences that they service.

More fabric was donated to Stoneham Mask Makers, a volunteer organization; they create masks for local residents and businesses.
