Days of Our Lives Star to Come to Stoneham: Report

STONEHAM, MA — The star of a national TV soap opera is set to make an appearance in Stoneham, reports Wicked Local Malden.

Charles Shaughnessy, who is famous for playing Shane Donovan on Days of our Lives, will emcee a musical fundraiser and meet with fans in Stoneham on Oct. 12. The event features local performers putting on a variety show of Broadway, pop and opera music, according to the report.

Shaughnessy has also played roles in CSI New York as Mr. Christensen; Mad Men as Saint John Powell; and appeared in one episode of Disney's Hannah Montana, according to iMDb.

The event will benefit the Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps, and will take place at the Stoneham Theatre.
