Eddie Raia Passes Away

Allan E. "Eddie" Raia, Jr. of Stoneham passed away on Monday, Feb. 19 at his home. He was 37 years of age.

Born on June 19, 1980 in Winchester, Eddie was the loving son of the late A. Edward Raia Sr. and Alice (Raza) Raia. Eddie is a kind and caring son, brother, cousin, nephew and loyal friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Eddie was the owner of Coastal Maintenance Supplies Ltd. He loved music and always had a flare for life. He cherished his times with his family whether playing in the band or hanging at home with family and friends. He loved spending time in Laconia and being up north by the lake.

Eddie is the dear brother of the late Eric Raia. He is the cherished grandson of the late Salvatore and Nina Raia and Joseph and Lorraine Fleury. Eddie is the caring nephew of Paul Raia, Marie Provencher and her husband Steve Parker, Terry Fleury and her late husband Michael, Phil Raza Sr. and his wife Joan, James Scannell and his late wife Nancie and the late J. Ronald Raia. He is lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Eddie's Eternal Life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24th at 1 p.m. in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28), Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the family prior to the Service, beginning at 10 am in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
