Civil War expert David Smith will be at The Book Oasis on Thursday, March 22 at 7pm to give a talk about the roles of Massachusetts and Stoneham in the Civil War. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. This event will tie in with the re-dedication of the Jacob Gould memorial at Lindenwood Cemetery on Memorial Day (this is still tentative, but will happen if the headstone arrives in time). Gould was a Civil War veteran from Stoneham. Bring your questions!
