Historic structures are the key components of our downtowns and neighborhoods. The Town of Stoneham is now accepting proposals for the fair market value purchase and use of both the North and East Elementary Schools. The RFP's (Request for Proposals) can be downloaded from the town website at www.ci.stoneham.ma.us. A walk-through of the East School is scheduled for 8/10/11 at 3 PM and North School for 8/11/11 at 3 PM. Both structures have been the venues for educating generations of local school children and now are being offered to developers with a creative vision and a respect for the community.
