Music MAYnia is a free community festival that features continuous live performances, instrument demos, games, arts &amp; crafts, food trucks, and more! Student performers of all ages and abilities will perform a music marathon on four stages, indoors and outdoors, ranging from classical to rock. It’s a popular event that many community members attend—and look forward to—every year. There will also be a sensory-friendly room available this year! Held rain or shine at Winchester Community Music School, 407 Highland Avenue, Winchester, MA. The Lynnfield Art Guild (LAG) is delighted to announce that its Spring Arts Festival will offer exciting new opportunities for artistic sharing and expression. In addition to a Judged Arts Show and Sale of all original art in the Lynnfield Meeting House, this festival will feature dozens of crafters and artisan vendors on the Commons and hands-on activities for all ages. As always, visitors will have the chance to interact with many local organizations. 
The full roster of festivities on Saturday May 9th from 10 AM – 4 PM at the Meeting House, 617 Main Street, and on the Commons will include a performance by Side Project, offering a mix of musical genres from 1 – 3 PM. Talented art students from Lynnfield High School will offer face painting. 
The food available will include LAG’s famous bake sale, which sells out every year. As always, LAG will hold a fabulous raffle of original art, goods and local business gift certificates. This year’s judges are Andy Levine, Laurie Schmidt and Robert Frascella and their choices for ribbon winners for both adult and LHS student art will be posted. Come support the arts while enjoying this festive community event!

Reading Memorial High School

Experience an evening of choral music with the Reading Community Singers, featuring a 70-person chorus, led by Artistic Director Elijah Botkin and accompanist Joe Beninati,&nbsp;along with a 5-piece band.RCS will be performing a “timeless” selection of music, including Cindy Lauper’s “Time After Time”, “Seasons of Love” from Rent, Irving Berlin’s classic “Blue Skies”, as well a Medley from “Wicked”. There will also be a special performance by Allison Hall of Wilmington, the 2026 winner of the Annual RCS Scholarship.Tickets are available for $25 general admission or $20 for seniors and students, and can be purchased at the door or online.
