Tickets for each show are between $44-$48 for regular admission; senior & Stoneham resident discounts apply; all student tickets $20. Senior discount matinees available.

About Sister's Christmas

Sister’s Christmas Catechism, conceived by Maripat Donovan with Jane Morris and Marc Silvia, is the latest installment in the Late Nite Catechism series, a hilarious unconventional tutorial in Catholic holiday traditions. Sister’s Christmas Catechism is an opportunity to dive in and solve the real mysteries of the season. Perfect for those who need to know where the Magi’s gold is actually hidden. “Sister” Denise Fennell, Boston native now residing in Los Angeles, will conduct the proceedings and a local choir will not only be featured before the performance, but will then also be lured into her classroom for the nail biting start of the show.

Sat. 11/26 at 1 pm; Sun. 11/27 at 5 pm; Thurs., 12/1 at 7 pm; Sat. 12/3 at 8 pm; Sun. 12/4 at 5 pm; Wed. 12/7 at 2 pm; Thurs. 12/8 at 7 pm; Sat. 12/10 at 5 pm; Sun. 12/11 at 5 pm; Wed. 12/14 at 2 pm; Thurs. 12/15 at 7 pm; Sat. 12/17 at 8 pm; Sun. 12/18 at 5 pm; and Fri. 12/23 at 8 pm.

Pay-What-You- Can Performance of Sister’s Christmas Catechism to Benefit Toys for Tots

On November 26, patrons have the option of “buying” tickets one hour before the performance with a new unwrapped toy. All toys will benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program and will be distributed as Christmas gifts to the less fortunate children in the area. Toys will be accepted as Pay-What-You-Can payment only for the 1:00 p.m. performance of Sister’s Christmas Catechism.

Stoneham Theatre’s Pay-What-You-Can performances are made possible by Melrose Cooperative Bank.

Special additional performance of Sister’s Christmas Catechism

Sister’s Christmas Catechism will have two additional senior matinees, both held on Wednesdays, Dec. 7 and Dec. 14, at 2:00 p.m. All tickets are $28.
