Evelyn Vitagliano Passes Away

Evelyn T. Vitagliano of Stoneham, formerly of Reading and Wakefield, died Nov. 25 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 89.

Evelyn was the devoted mother of Albert (Buddy) Vitagliano and his wife Lisa of Atkinson, NH, Stephen J. Vitagliano and his late wife Deborah of Peabody, Kenneth J. Vitagliano and his wife Nancy of Newton and Paul D. Vitagliano of Wakefield. Loving grandmother of Hallie, Julia, Jennifer, Kaitlyn and the late Michael Vitagliano. Cherished sister of Eileen McElhinney of Plymouth, the late Kay Bacon of Knoxville, TN, the late Anne Raphael and her husband Vince of Tom’s River, NJ. Evelyn is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Evelyn’s memory to the Kaplan Family Hospice House 78 Liberty St. Danvers, MA 01923.
