Event Spotlight: 'Beauty and the Beast' at Stoneham Theatre
The musical kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday at the Theatre.

Stoneham Theatre's young company is performing Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" Friday and Saturday.
This tale as old as time follows the classic story of a young woman, Belle, who dreams for something outside of her small town life. But when an unfortunate encounter whisks her away to the castle of a grizzled Beast, she is forced to turn her energy towards the characters who surround her, and see their true beauty within. This Broadway hit features all the beloved songs from the animated film.
