Fire Log: Aid Requests, Accidents Keep Firefighters Busy

Nearly one-third of the calls the  responded to from Jan. 31-Feb. 6 were for motor vehicle-related incidents. The Fire Department fielded 72 calls, up 18 from the previous week, during that seven-day period, with aid requested (29 calls), motor vehicle crashes (14), fire investigations (nine) and seven calls for motor vehicle accidents with personal injury round out the list.
