Fire Log: Quiet Week for Stoneham Firefighters

Find out what types of calls kept the Stoneham Fire Department busy during the week of Jan. 2-8.

The  responded to 36 calls for service, down 12 from the previous week, from Jan. 2-8.

Aid requests (20 calls) topped the list of calls tackled by firefighters, followed by fire investigations (five) and medical aid and box alarms with three apiece. The Fire Department also provided mutual aid to Wakefield Fire on Jan. 7.

Jan. 3 was the busiest day for firefighters, as they responded to eight calls for service.
