FIRE LOG: Stoneham Firefighters Called to Four Outside Fires

The handled 61 calls for service, up 11 from the previous week, from April 2-8.
More than half of the calls fielded by the department were for aid requests (31 calls), followed by motor vehicle crashes (eight), box alarms (five) and outside fires and medical aid with four apiece.
April 5 was the busiest day for firefighters, as they handled 14 calls for service.
