FIRE LOG: Stoneham Firefighters Handle 54 Calls for Service

The responded to 54 calls for service, up six from the previous week, from March 19-25
Half of the calls fielded by the department were for aid requests (27 calls), followed by motor vehicle crashes with personal injury (seven) and box alarm and outside fires with four apiece. Firefighters also provided mutual aid to Wakefield Fire Department at 9:42 p.m. on March 20.
March 20 was the busiest day for firefighters, as they handled 12 calls for service.
