Stoneham Fire Log: Firefighters See Slight Uptick in Calls for Service

The responded to 55 calls, up five from the previous week, for service from Dec. 5-11.
Aid requests (25 calls) topped the list of calls tackled by firefighters, followed by motor vehicle crashes (seven) and fire investigations with six. Stoneham firefighters also provided mutual aid to Melrose Fire on Dec. 5.
Dec. 5 was the busiest day for firefighters, as they responded to 14 calls for service.
