Fire Log: Stoneham Firefighters Handle Nearly 60 Calls for Service

Find out what types of calls kept the Stoneham Fire Department busy during the week of Jan. 9-15.

The  responded to 58 calls for service, up 22 from the previous week, from Jan. 9-15.

Aid requests (22 calls) topped the list of calls tackled by firefighters, followed by medical aid (eight) and fire investigations and motor vehicle crashes with five apiece. Stoneham firefighters also provided mutual aid to Woburn Fire on Jan. 15.

Jan. 12 was the busiest day for firefighters, as they responded to 12 calls for service.
