Five Things: Meetings, Meditation and Spartans Fall
Check out the "Patch Facts" column for Nov. 14.

1. A quartet of meetings: The Stoneham Housing Authority will meet at 4 p.m. at 11 Parker Chase Road; the School Building Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in high school teachers’ dining room; the Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the library’s Stoneham Room; and the town’s Finance and Advisory Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
2. Spartans ousted: After a great run, the Stoneham High girls’ soccer team was finally knocked out of the Division 2 North sectional Saturday. The second-seeded Spartans at Manning Field in Lynn. The Spartans finish the season 15-2-5.
3. Tai Chi and Qi Gong Meditation: Be sure to check out “,” a workout and meditation seminar, at on Main Street.

4. Love blogging? We're looking for some unpaid bloggers who either live or work in Stoneham to contribute to our new "Local Voices" section. We'd love to have folks passionate about writing on various localized topics such as cooking, fashion, fitness, high school sports and the outdoors.
