Five Things You Need to Know Today: April 8

1. Showtime! "The Rimers of Eldritch," a play about Nelly Windrod standing trial for murder, accused of shooting a local vagrant as he attacked a teenage girl, starts at 8 p.m. at the , 395 Main St. Tickets cost $38-44, but senior discounts are available and students can attend the show for $20. 2. Need a new place? Check out our weekly  column at noon featuring five open houses in Stoneham on Sunday.

3. Who wants to hear a story? , 431 Main St., will provide children ages 3 1/2 and older with a storytime and the opportunity to make simple crafts from 10:30-11:15 a.m. in the Children's Room. The program is free and open to the public. 

4. Office hours: Senator Katherine Clark is expected to have office hours of 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center, 136 Elm St.
