1. Mother Nature's at it again: Well, it appears the winter season won't go quietly this year, as more precipitation is already underway. Rain or freezing rain is expected to fall until about 10 a.m. before transitioning to just rain, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Stoneham. Some patchy fog is anticipated after 7 a.m. The rain may taper off during the early evening hours, while temperatures will drop from a daytime high of 43 degrees to a low of about 28 at night. Wind gusts could peak at 33 miles per hour, according to the report.

2. Pajamas wanted: The has teamed up with Cradles to Crayons, the Boston Bruins and to collect pajamas that will be given to local children in need in Massachusetts. The pajama collection story time event runs from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Junior Room. Light refreshments will be provided at this free and open to the public event. For more information, contact the Junior Library at 781-438-1325.

3. Check yourself: The Stoneham Senior Center, 136 Elm St., Stoneham is hosting a free blood pressure check from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

4. Tasty deal: The , 1099 Main St., Wakefield is selling wings for 25 cents and margaritas for $2.99 each. And don't forget, magician Jason Willinger is there every Wednesday between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. .
