Five Things You Need to Know Today: June 8

1. Grab a fan: The National Weather Service's forecast for Stoneham says it will be mostly sunny and temperatures may hit a high of 89 degrees. Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m. Thursday are also part of the forecast.

2. Bloggers wanted: We're looking for some unpaid bloggers who either live or work in Stoneham to contribute blogs to our new "Local Voices" section which launched today. We'd love to have folks passionate about writing on various localized topics such as cooking, fashion, fitness, high school sports and the outdoors. We'd prefer bloggers who can contribute one blog with photo(s) per week.
