1. Support the cause: The fourth annual Paws 4 A Cure Walk at , 99 Lake St., Wakefield, kicks off at 1 p.m. The three-mile walk is a fundraiser to support veterinary hospitals, as they will use the proceeds to help pet owners who can't afford to take care of their cat or dog. Registration for the walk costs $30 per person. 

2. Shout it out loud: Karaoke with Kimba J. is slated to run from 8:30-11:30 p.m. at the Lakeside Tavern, 595 North Ave., Wakefield.
