Get CPR/AED Certified at the Health & Wellness Expo

Always wanted to learn CPR/AED or need to be re-certified? Take the ASHI CPR/AED Training Class on Sat., April 6th.

The Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham will offer ASHI's CPR and AED Training Course during the Health & Wellness Expo on Saturday, April 6th from 11am to 1pm. This CPR and AED Course is designed specifically for laypeople, and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator training in both community and workplace settings. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents.

This course is suitable for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but who desire, or are required, to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED including: emergency response teams in business and industry, adult residential care personnel, teachers, parents and babysitters.

The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with MelroseWakefield Hospital and Winchester Hospital, will host the 9th Annual Health & Wellness Expo at Stoneham Town Hall on Saturday, April 6th from 10am-1pm. This event is free and open to the public. There will be more than 75 vendors on hand offering screenings, medical advice, demonstrations, samples and more.
