Grand Theft Audio in Concert on Thursday
The next concert in the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series features classic rock.
Submitted by the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce:
It has been a fabulous season thus far for the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series; and the fun and great music continue on Thursday, July 31 when the rock group Grand Theft Audio performs.
Grand Theft Audio is an acoustic classic rock act that features music of ‘60s and ‘70s. This act was formed when Stoneham musicians Paul Giannelli and Neil Porter spun off from their band Replay (a band that played in the Stoneham Chamber Concert Series back in 2007). This acoustical classic rock band (with the vocalist Charlene Porter occasionally joining in), who faithfully recreates classic tunes from acts that helped define the ‘60s and ‘70s, performs throughout the area at such venues as Grumpy Doyle’s in Reading, Tanner Tavern in Woburn, Port Tavern in Newburyport, The Brickyard in Woburn, Waxy’s in Woburn, the Lynnfield 99 Restaurant, and more.

Grand Theft Audio is the perfect soundtrack to the evening’s classic car showcase, which will be onChurch Street, right next to the Common and bandstand. This side parking lot on Church Street will be reserved for classic cars the evening of July 31st. If you are interested in having your classic/vintage car displayed that evening, the Chamber invites you to do so! The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. but the Chamber will begin lining up cars beginning at 6:15 p.m. and will continue to take them until the lot is full – if it fills up, cars are welcome to park onCentral Street between the Common and the Town Hall, however those spots won’t be reserved. If you have any questions, you may call the Stoneham Chamber Concert Committee Chair, Debbie Catalano of Catalano Creative at 781-438-4640 or e-mail her at CatalanoPR@aol.com.
In addition to the music and car show, Series’ corporate sponsor Uno Fresco, business sponsor Life Care Center of Stoneham, and nonprofit sponsor Hallmark Health will all have a presence at the event.
