Halloween Trick Or Treat Stroll (Saturday October 25, 2014 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Stoneham invites community to new “Jack O’ Lantern Walk”
on the Common, Saturday, October 25

The Town of Stoneham is adding a fun new element to dovetail with the Chamber of Commerce Halloween Stroll, Saturday, October 25.

Beginning at 2:00pm, the community is invited to bring their already carved pumpkins to the Common, receive a free LED light and place their lit pumpkins along one of the paths on the Common. During the afternoon and early evening, this “growing” Jack O’ Lantern Walk display will illuminate the Common for a fun stroll after dark.

Families attending the Halloween Stroll are encouraged to bring their pumpkins to the Common during the Stroll hours from 2:00-4:00pm, where volunteers will be on hand to distribute the free LED lights and help to select prime pumpkin display space.
An added treat at approximately 5:45pm, members of the Stoneham Theatre cast of The Addams Family will perform several numbers from the current production of “The Addams Family – A New Musical”.

The Jack O’ Lantern Walk ends at 7:00pm. Anyone wishing to retrieve their pumpkins must do so before 8:00pm, as all pumpkins will be collected at 8:00pm for composting.

Trick or Treat at participating Stoneham businesses in and around Main Street. Just look for this sign in the window!
