LETTER: "Rep. Michael Day Has Been a Champion of the Environment in his First Term"
A letter to the editor of Stoneham Patch.

Dear Editor:
Autumn in Stoneham should remind all of us that our environment and natural resources are irreplaceable. As we enjoy outdoor activities with friends and family, perhaps at the soccer fields or apple picking on a beautiful fall weekend, we should remember that we are all responsible for the natural beauty that surrounds us. It is important that we band together in conservation and open space programs, promote education initiatives, and mindfully elect policymakers to set environmental and conservation policy at the local, state, and federal levels.
Stoneham’s own State Representative Michael Day has been a champion of the environment in his first term representing our district. His work on expanding funding for the Massachusetts Environmental Protection and his support for this spring’s landmark energy omnibus bill demonstrate Representative Day’s steady commitment to essential environmental concerns.

Representative Day’s work has earned him the endorsement of prestigious environmental activist organizations like the Sierra Club and the Environmental League of Massachusetts, and I trust that his commitment to our district and our state’s environmental policy needs will not wane. If you care about clean air, clean water, recycling, litter prevention, or making sure we power our homes and businesses with clean energy, you should vote for Mike Day on November 8.
Respectfully,
