Braintree, MA – Liberty Bay Credit Union is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2014 Scholarship Awards. Scholarship are awarded to currently enrolled or accepted college students, as well as, the Jane B. Cella Community Service award given to a deserving graduating high school senior for exemplary community service.
Winners recently gathered for a brunch reception at TICO in Boston, where winners and their families enjoyed some great food and conversations before receiving their awards and taking some photo’s. “We have long been committed to helping outstanding college students in the community to succeed at the top colleges and universities,” said Brian Leary, Chief Operating Officer. “Since the program started in 1994, Liberty Bay has supported over 200 college students directly, with more than 200K in scholarship awards.”
