Lunch Specials Among Deals in Stoneham

With the economy still struggling to recover from recessionary levels, saving every dollar possible at local shops and restaurants may be a necessary evil to help make ends meet.

To help readers find ways to save money we'll feature five deals offered by area merchants and establishments in our weekly "Frugal Family" column, which will run every Wednesday.

Here are some of the latest deals in the area:

1. 

Deal: Looking to get out for the evening? Wednesday night, attend Ladies' Night at the bar lounge area. Ladies receive 20 percent off all entrees/sushi/appetizers/deserts.

2. 

Deal: If customers mention the lunch special ad posted on the cafe's website between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., they can get a sandwich and soup for $10.

Deal: Is it time to shake things up and try something new in your fitness routine? Try one of L.A. Fitness' complimentary passes and head out to the gym today.

Deal: Need to buy two sandwiches on your work break? UDine4Less is offering a lunch coupon to Pignone's that allows a patron to buy one regular priced sub and get a second sub (of equal or lesser value) at 50 percent off.

5. 

Deal: The company's website features some different deals, including a $45 off "Brake Special" (e.g. replace brake pads, resurface (machine) rotors, clean and lubricate caliper pin) for $259.95 and $50 off the "Pot-O-Hole Special," which includes tire rotation, four wheel tire balance and alignment, inspection of brakes and suspension.
