Make Plans for the summer with Campus KIDS!

Melrose Public Schools’ summer program Campus KIDS is accepting registrations and will run daily Monday-Friday June 29th-August 21st for a sixth summer! Campus KIDS serves local students prek-4th grade for 8 weeks while school is out of session. Children will explore weekly themes traveling the country learning about the United States and having FUN! The program is designed to keep kids engaged, learning and participating in a positive environment with professional teaching staff and youth mentors throughout summer vacation.

NEW this summer Campus KIDS is piloting a fee-for-service academic enrichment option. Certified Melrose teachers will provide targeted lessons and practice for students over the summer in math or literacy (reading, writing and spelling). Small groups of up to four children who already attend Campus KIDS or come in specifically for service on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday afternoons will have a designated learning space at the Lincoln Elementary School. All students are welcome to take advantage of this opportunity, regardless of their home school district. Registration is required in advance. This specialized attention from a teacher will help student’s learning to be maintained over the summer. Each 45 minute session costs $30 and parents may select the weeks to fit their schedule.

Campus KIDS takes place at the Lincoln Elementary School in Melrose and offers a variety of schedules including half day A.M., half day P.M., full day, and extended day until 6:00 p.m. Children will enjoy outdoor activities, water play, and air-conditioned indoor amenities including a gymnasium, library, and technology center.
