Make Stone Zoo a Vacation Week Must
Keeper chats, scavenger hunts, and mystery animal appearances just a few of the highlights.

Looking for something to do with the kids during school vacation week? Then head over to Stone Zoo this week and meet some animals you might not expect to see a few miles outside of Boston.
Do you know that snow leopards, black bears, North American river otters, jaguars and Mexican gray wolves are just a few of the amazing animals that call Stone Zoo home? During April school vacation week, you’re invited to visit the Zoo to learn more about these animals and see them up close. It starts with Zoo Keeper chats every day starting Tuesday. Ask the staff who care for each animal any questions you'd like. At 11:30 a.m. head to the snow leopards. At 1 p.m. check out the jaguar. And at 2 p.m., say hello to the black bears. Did you know they are brothers?
Elsewhere in the zoo, head to the education station across from the flamingo exhibit. The Zoo's education staff will have animal fun facts and you just might get a mystery animal encounter. The education station will be open Tue-Fri between 10 a.m. and noon.

And who doesn't like a scavenger hunt? Better yet, who doesn't like a scavenger hunt inspired by Annie the Musical? Scavenger hunts will be distributed at the admission booth. After, return your completed scavenger hunt to the Stone Zoo gift shop to win a prize.
Tickets to the zoo are $16.95 for adults, $11.95 for children 2-12, and free for children under 2. Seniors pay $14.95.
