Marge Muir Passes Away
Longtime Stoneham resident worked at the Public Works Department for many years.

Marguerite D. (Piraino) "Marge" Muir of Stoneham passed away on Sept. 13 surrounded by her family. She was 86.
Marge was born in Charlestown and lived in Somerville before moving to Stoneham where she lived for the past 50 years.
Marge is the beloved and devoted mother of Roger P. Muir and his wife Laura, Marcia A. Muir, Mark A. Muir, David J. Muir and his wife Teresa and the late Donna M. Muir. She is the cherished grandmother of 15 and loving great grandmother of 3. Marge is the dear sister of Grace M. Ganat and her late husband Francis, Paul A. Piraino and his wife Marie and Anthony J. Piraino and his late wife Muriel. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and many friends.

Marge graduated from Girls High School in Boston in 1950 and went on to graduate from Mount Ida College. She worked at the Public Works Department in Stoneham for many years. Marge was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain family and friends in her home. She was full of life and full of love.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Marge's Eternal Life will be held on Friday, Sept. 21st at 10 am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
