Mary Agresti Passes Away
Longtime Stoneham resident spent her career working in the stitching industry.

Mary A. Agresti, of Stoneham, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 28, peacefully in her home. She was 96 years old.
Born in Warren, Rhode Island, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Virginia (Meschino) Agresti. Mary was a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Mary spent her career working in the stitching industry. She was an active participant in the stitcher's union and a great advocate for her fellow workers before she retired to care for her mother. Mary was a member of Chatterbox Club for over 20 years. She loved traveling, cooking, sewing, and visiting family in Italy.

Mary was the sister to Francis P. Agresti and his late wife Loreen, the late Theresa Agresti and the late Peter J. Agresti. Mary is also survived by her niece Doreen M. Gilligan and her husband Mark, and her nephew Frank Agresti and wife Susan. She was also Aunt to the late Kathleen A. Agresti. Mary is also survived by her devoted cousin Lisa DeScenza and her husband Paul and children Isabella and Anthony, her great niece Kara Gilligan, her cousin Helen Manetta, her cousin Philip Meschino and his wife Elaine, and two very devoted caregivers Debbie Siefert and Debbie Jackson as well as many extended cousins and friends.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham, Tue., Nov. 6th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Monday, Nov. 5th from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
