Mary Appleyard Passes Away
Mary was a dedicated secretary at Stoneham High School for many years.

Mary A. (Dacey) Appleyard of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, Feb. 18 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. She was 80 years of age.
Born on November 26, 1937 in Waltham, Mary was the loving daughter of the late Eugene Dacey and Mary (McHugh) Dacey. Mary was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Mary was a dedicated secretary at Stoneham High School for many years where she found great joy working with the students and her dedicated colleagues.

Mary is the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Appleyard. She is the devoted mother of Mary E. Furrier and her husband Mark, Robert J. Appleyard and his wife Mary, Joseph C. Appleyard and his wife Maureen, Janice A. Tenzin and her husband Pasang. The cherished grandmother of 9, Mary is the loving great grandmother of 1. She is the dear sister of Robert Dacey, Carol Tripoli, Stephen Dacey, Kathleen Manganelli and the late Eugene, John, Paul, Peter and Joseph Dacey. Mary is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28), Stoneham, Friday, Feb. 23rd at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Thursday, Feb. 22nd from 4-7 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
