Mary Lawlor Passes Away

Mary B. Lawlor, 81, of Stoneham died March 15 at the age of 81.

Beloved daughter of the late Louis and Alice (Allesandri) Bellomo. Mother of Mia Rogers and her partner John Diorio. Grandmother of Samantha Hernandez and her husband Elmer, Steven Rogers and Cadin Diorio. Great grandmother of Serena and Enzo Hernandez. Sister of Louis Bellomo and his wife Katherine, Robert Bellomo and his wife Dorothy, Patricia Miles and the late Albert Bellomo. Along with aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Mary grew up in Chelsea and was a graduate of Chelsea High School, class of 1954. For many years she worked as the executive director at the New England Home Furnishings Association. Mary also donated her time volunteering for Brigham and Women's Hospital. She attended mass daily and was an active member at St. Patrick's Church. Mary also enjoyed taking photos.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28), Stoneham, Tuesday, March 20th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories Monday, March 19th from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
