Memorial Day Parade Begins Day Of Celebration, Tributes

On Monday, May 28th the Town of Stoneham is hosting a parade and ceremonies to commemorate Memorial Day.

The parade will take place rain or shine, except in the case of extreme weather. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Elm Street. The ceremony will begin around 11:30 am at Town Hall. Smaller ceremonies are being held at St Patrick Cemetery and Lindenwood Cemetery as part of the parade. We ask that you join us in honoring the men and woman who fought and died for our freedom.

*Please be advised that the Parade will close sections of Elm Street, Main Street, Montvale Ave and Central Street at various times between 10 am and 11:30 am with part of Central Street at Town Hall closed until approximately 12:30 pm. Please consider alternate routes during this time period.
