Middle school students inspired by world champion athlete

On behalf of the Stoneham Central Middle School PTO, we would like to say thank you to the Stoneham Cultural Council for their support for a program that took place towards the end of last school year.

The entire student body was able to see a presentation from World Champion BMX rider Chris Poulos. He performed 2 assemblies (for 5th/6th and for 7th/8th graders) and shared stories about how he has become successful in life (basically try your best, be nice, break hard things into small pieces, practice!) All while performing some entertaining bike stunts (student favorite seemed to be when he jumped over 3 of their teachers, including Mr Sallee!). It was a great assembly on kindness, teamwork, and how to chase your dreams.
