MSBA Selection Committee Says Yes To New Stoneham High School
It's on to full board meeting Wednesday for final approval of Stoneham's application.

It's not a done deal, there's another vote to be taken, but Stoneham Superintendent John Macero got the call he had been waiting for Thursday. The Massachusetts School Building Authority's Selection Committee has picked Stoneham to receive state funding for a new high school. The final vote will be taken by the full MSBA board Wednesday in Boston.
As detailed in Patch this week, the full board historically agrees with the Selection Committee but Macero wasn't ready to declare a win just yet.
"If they approve we move forward to the next stage," said Macero in an email. "So Wednesday will be a big day for us."
