No Saturday Plans? Then Consider A Wild Affair

Stone Zoo 21+ event brings best of area food and drink to zoo.

STONEHAM, Ma. - If you haven't made your weekend plans yet, consider this. The Stone Zoo's 15th annual fundraiser A Wild Affair is Saturday, your chance to eat, drink, and check out the zoo's animals on the first weekend of the summer.

This 21+ tasting event runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and allows guests to walk on the wild side as they sample offerings from stations hosted by Greater Boston’s best restaurants and caterers, enjoy live entertainment, bid on special items within a silent and live auction, and meet some of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors up close.

Participating food and drink vendors include Atria Longmeadow Place, Buffalo Wild Wings, Burtons Grill of Burlington, Costco, Del Sur LLC, Edible Arrangements, Fuddruckers, Harrows Chicken Pies, Joe’s American Bar & Grill of Woburn, Karl’s Sausage, KIND, Not Your Average Joe’s of Arlington, Nubar, On the Border, One Hope Wine, Pisa Pizza, Red Heat Tavern, Spin Fluff, Starbucks, Sweet Spot Bakery, T’ahpas 529, The Stones Common House and Kitchen, Waxy O’ Connor’s, Wegmans, and others.

Advance tickets are on sale now for $60 each, and tickets purchased Saturday will cost $70 each. VIP tickets are available for $100.

Proceeds from A Wild Affair will support the operation and continued growth of Stone Zoo, its education programs and conservation initiatives.
