Nomination Papers Available To Run For Stoneham Municipal Office

Below seats are open due to resignation and will be elected to complete remaining one year of the term.

Nomination papers are available for any registered voter in Stoneham wishing to run for a municipal office on April 6, 2021.

The 2021 Annual Town Election ballot will include:

Two seats on the Select Board 3 year term

Two seats on the School Committee 3 year term

One seat on the School Committee 1 year term*

One seat on the Board of Assessors 3 year term

One seat on the Planning Board 5 year term

One seat on the Housing Authority 5 year term

One seat on the Board of Health 3 year term

Two seats on the Board of Library Trustees 3 year term

One Moderator 2 year term

Three Constables 3 year term

*This seat is open due to a resignation and will be elected to complete the remaining one year of the term.

In order to qualify for the Annual Town Election ballot the nomination papers must be taken out no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021 and returned to the Town Clerk’s Office no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 with the signatures of at least 50 registered voters.
