Nomination Papers Available For Stoneham Town Election
Candidates for elected office must get at least 50 certified signatures to qualify for the April 7 ballot.
STONEHAM, MA — Nomination papers for the 2020 town election are available at the Town Clerk's office. Candidates for office must obtain at least 50 certified signatures to qualify for placement on the April 7 ballot.
The 2020 Annual Town Election ballot will include:
One seat on the Select Board; 3 year term
Two seats on the School Committee; 3 year term
One seat on the Board of Assessors; 3 year term
One seat on the Planning Board; 5 year term
One seat on the Housing Authority; 5 year term
One seat on the Board of Health; 3 year term
Two seats on the Board of Library Trustees; 3 year term

In order to qualify for the Annual Town Election ballot the nomination papers must be taken out no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 and returned to the Town Clerk's office no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 with the signatures of at least 50 registered voters.
