Opening Night Friday For Stone's ZooLights
Annual holiday tradition returns to the Stone Zoo and weekend forecast is good.

ZooLights is set to once again dazzle visitors of all ages when it opens at Stone Zoo for the holiday season on Friday, Nov. 24.
This annual winter wonderland attracts thousands of visitors each year who get into the holiday spirit by strolling along tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights. New this year, guests will be able to see black bears, Smoky and Bubba and the festively decorated area around their exhibit. Stroll through the beautifully lit Yukon Creek and see bald eagles, Canada lynx, arctic foxes, and reindeer.
Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to meet one of Stone Zoo’s reindeer up close during the nightly photo opportunities. Children will want to make sure they visit with Santa, who awaits their arrival in Santa’s Castle. Jolly Old St. Nick will be available for photos through Dec. 23. On Dec. 6, 13, 20 and 24, guests can also meet Mrs. Claus, who will be greeting visitors and spreading holiday cheer throughout the Zoo from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

There will also be music. On Nov. 28 from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m., come hear a performance by a cappella group, Vinyl Street. On Dec. 20 between 7-8 p.m. hear a cappella group, Random Chants.
Zoolights runs from 5-9 p.m. each night until Dec. 31 and will be closed on Dec. 25. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for members. Children are $8, $7 if members.
