Stoneham, MA—If you head to the Stone Zoo, you might get a chance to see this adorable new mountain goat baby.

The Zoo announced Wednesday that a markhor, an endangered species of mountain goat, had given birth to a new female baby on May 30. The new markhor was walking within a half hour of its birth, and was seen nursing within 45 minutes of its birth.

“The experienced mother is very attentive and is doing everything she should be doing. These animals are skilled climbers suited to rough, rocky terrain, and it’s amazing to observe the agility in the kid at such a young age,” said Pete Costello, Assistant Curator of Stone Zoo in a statement.
