<p>MELROSE, MA—In front of a raucus hometown crowd, Stonheam native Greg "The Villain" Vendetti defeated Malik Jackson for the vacated Super Welterweight New England Boxing Championship Thursday Night. </p><p>Although Vendetti was featured in the co-main event behind Whitman native Mark Deluca, Vendetti's fight may have drawn the biggest cheers, with the Stoneham border just minutes from Melrose Memorial Hall. Student performers of all ages and abilities will perform a music marathon on four stages, indoors and outdoors, ranging from classical to rock.
