Police To Debut Community Survey At Stoneham Town Day

A release from the Stoneham Police Department:

STONEHAM -- The Stoneham Police Department will conduct a community survey Saturday at Town Day that will help members of the police department gauge its strengths and understand areas of improvement as it seeks to provide modern, professional public safety services to its citizens.

According to Chief James McIntyre, members of the department will be giving out coffee and donuts to anyone who spends approximately five minutes at the police department's table, located on Central Street, near the police station, right next to the Mr. Doyle's Dog Show exhibit!

The survey is completely anonymous. No personal or identifiable information is being collected, and staff will be on-hand with tablets. Those who wish to use their own devices, or anyone else who cannot attend Town Day may fill out the survey by visiting stonehampdsurvey.com. The survey is open now, and it will remain available until the department believes it has collected a significant number of responses.

"The Stoneham Police Department seeks to be a progressive and modern public safety agency, and we are committed to receiving and responding to feedback from our residents, business owners, and visitors," Chief McIntyre said. "We want to hear from you, and we want to know what we are doing well and where we must improve. It is our sincere hope that this survey will serve as a helpful guide for our department, and I want to thank everyone for their time and consideration in advance."

Stoneham Town Day will be held on Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, Town Day will be moved to Sunday, Sept. 16, from noon to 5 p.m.
