POLICE LOG: Copper, Tools Stolen from a Charles Street Home

At 6:33 a.m. on March 13, Stoneham Police responded to a Charles Street home on a report of larceny. The victim told police his tools and spools of copper were missing. Officers believe the theft was recent and searched the area for other signs of theft. Police to investigate.

@12:19 a.m.: Police called to on a report of two loud noises that sounded like explosions. The report was unfounded.

@12:30 p.m.: Police respond to on Main Street for a report of a detained female shoplifter. The store plans to file a complaint in Woburn District Court. No arrest logged.

@4:15 p.m.: Police respond to North Street for a report of a hypodermic needle found on the ground. The item was retrieved by an officer and disposed of properly.

@8:24 p.m.: Police called to on Main Street on a report of a past assault. The victim claims they were assaulted by a customer. The dispute appears to be a family issue. Police to investigate.
