POLICE LOG: Cricklewood Drive Racer Gets Second Warning, Avoids Arrest

At 2:54 p.m. on March 12, Stoneham Police responded to Cricklewood Drive on a report of motor vehicle racing in the area. It was the second time an officer had spoken with the owner and operator of the vehicle inquestion, and they said they wouldn't do it again. No arrests reported.

@12:46 p.m.: Police called to Cottage Street on a report of a hit-and-run incident. The homeowner's property—not their vehicle—was damaged. Police to investigate.
@2:20 p.m.: Police respond to Elm Street on reports a dog had been hit by a vehicle. Several people witnessed the dog being struck by the vehicle; however, the dog reportedly wasn't taken to an animal hospital. The animal control officer was notified.

@4:23 p.m.: Police called to a Main Street apartment on a report of an alarm sounding at the apartment building. Emergency officials had to force their way into the unit, where they discovered unattended food burning on the stove. The area was vented using a smoke ejector, and a message was left with the property owner.
@6:15 p.m.: Police respond to Governor Road for a report of several hypodermic needles found in a homeowner's backyard which is adjacent to Redstone Shopping Center. The items were picked up by an officer and disposed of properly.
@8:07 p.m.: Police called to on Main Street on a report of a stolen wallet. Police to investigate.
