Police Log: Customer's Cash Stolen at Stop N Save in Stoneham

At 8:51 p.m. Dec. 14, Stoneham Police responded to Stop N Save on Franklin Street for a report of a larceny. The caller reported he put cash on the counter and someone took it, according to police. Police filed a report.

10:12 a.m.: Police called to Woodland Road for a report of a hit-and-run incident. The caller reported that an elderly woman in a truck with Mass. license plates looked at the damage and went into the building without leaving a note after hitting another vehicle, according to police. Police were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. Police left a note on the damaged vehicle to contact them.

11:48 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Elm and Main Streets for a report of solicitation. The solicitors were told by an officer to stay off the street, according to police. About two hours later, police were called to the area again for the same issue. Police told the the solicitors to stay off the road again.

3:14 p.m.: Police called to the area of Cottage Street and Montvale Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries or tows logged.

5 p.m.: Police responded to Walgreens for a report of a two-car accident in the parking lot. No injuries or tows logged.
