POLICE LOG: Car Crashes into a Pole on Summer Street

At 3:05 p.m. May 4, Stoneham police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Summer Street. A car reportedly hit a pole. A tow company and National Grid were notified. One person was taken to Winchester Hospital.

@7:08 a.m.: Police conduct a motor vehicle stop on Murdock Road. Leo Cavarretta, 22, of 4 Bryant St., Woburn, was arrested for failing to stop for police, speeding and improper operation of a motor vehicle.
@11:26 a.m.: Police called to Walsh Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries or tows reported.

@2:06 p.m.: Police called to Woodland Road for a report of a possible past assault. Police to investigate.
@4:45 p.m.: Police respond to Main Street on a report of vehicle vandalism. A vehicle's rear window was smashed. Police to investigate.
@5:17 p.m.: Police respond to Mount Vernon Street for a report of a past breaking and entering. No signs of forced entry. Police to investigate.
@6:26 p.m.: Police respond to the area of Main Street and Summer Street for a report of a fight in progress. Steven Crusco, 56, of 45 Russell Road, Winchester, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and disorderly conduct.

@5:17 a.m.: Police called to the area of Fellsway West and the Sheepfold on-ramp for a motor vehicle accident. State Police responded also. No injuries reported. State Police handled investigation.
@11:19 a.m.: Police called to St. Patrick Cemetery for a report of a strange item found. The item was a shoplifting deterrent device.
@5:29 p.m.: Police called to Spring Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Police to investigate.
